Watch: Man washed away in flooded street with his two-wheeler in Hyderabad

A man swept away in the downpour on the city’s streets along with his two-wheeler as sections of Hyderabad were overwhelmed by heavy rain.
A video posted on Twitter by the news agency ANI showed a street that had been so flooded from rain that it resembled a brook, with strong water currents that swept the man and his two-wheeler along with them before they were both saved by residents.
As severe rain battered the city and forced people inside, the majority of the businesses along the street in the Borabanda neighborhood looked to be shuttered.

For the past few days, torrential rain has plagued Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, as well as the rest of the nation, disrupting daily life. Beforehand, the weather service had issued a yellow advisory, alerting people to the possibility of thunderstorms and moderate rainfall in the city over the next three days.
Other regions of the nation have also been severely affected by the rain, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and the northeastern provinces of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
