The U.S Forces Conducted Strick In Syria Killed The Target Of An Al-Qaeda Leader

The United States forces conducted a kinetic strick in Syria’s Idlib region at the midnight targeting militant leader Abu Hamzah al Yemeni, whom Central Command calls ‘senior leader of Hurras al-Din, an Al Qaeda-aligned terrorist organization,’ adding ‘al Yemeni was traveling alone on a motorcycle at the time of the strike.’

They killed the target successful on Tuesday, midnight at Idlib-Qminas road, east of the province with the help of drone.

US Central Command said in its given statement, “Al Qaeda-aligned militants use Syria as a safe haven to coordinate with their external affiliates and plan operations outside of Syria. The removal of this senior leader will disrupt Al Qaeda’s ability to carry out attacks against U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians around the world”.

The Syrian Civil Defence, a humanitarian organization, said in a tweet that a man was killed shortly before midnight on 28 June, after his motorcycle was targeted by two rockets, adding it has transferred the body to the forensic department in Idlib city.
