The Former NYC Mayor Rudy Guiliani “Assaulted” By The Grocery Worker Amidst Campaigned For His Son

Rudy Giuliani, a former New York City Mayor, 78, claimed he was ‘assaulted’ in a Staten Island ‘ShopRite’ by a 39-year-old employee on duty, who came up behind him, and slapped him on the back and said, “Hey, what’s up scumbag.”

In the video recorded by a security camera seen a man approached Rudy Giuliani and is believed to be verbally abused according to him (Guiliani) and slapped him on his back at a grocery store by grocery worker on Staten Island on Sunday while the former mayor was campaigning for his son, a GOP candidate for governor. Giuliani said in an interview that the man said, “You’re going to kill women.” The man has been arrested.
According to law enforcement sources, the suspect, a 39-year-old Staten Island man, will be charged with second-degree assault on a person over the age of 65.
