Terrorist attack kills 2 labourers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian

Two laborers from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, were killed in a terror strike in the Harmen neighborhood of the district days after a Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead by militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian.
“#Terrorists threw a hand grenade at Harmen #Shopian, injuring two laborers from Uttar Pradesh, Ram Sagar and Monish Kumar, both of whom are from Kanooj, UP. They were taken to a hospital, where they passed away. Area sealed off,” the Kashmir Zone Police tweeted on Tuesday.
The terrorist who threw the grenade had been detained, according to a later tweet from the police. Imran Bashir Ganie, a hybrid terrorist from the banned group LeT, was apprehended by police in Shopian after throwing a grenade. Raids and additional #investigation are ongoing, the post stated.
During the attack, the victims were dozing off. Puran Krishan Bhat, a Kashmiri Pandit, was killed on October 15 in Chowdari Gund, a district in south Kashmir, when he was fired at quite closely while standing close to his home. He lived in Shopian and had never left, according to the locals.
