The Coronavirus Pandemic has shattered the world in one way or the other. During the pandemic doctors form an essential part of an effective response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Their hard work and commitment towards society and their work are commendable.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic health workers and doctors not only experienced the gratification of healing patients and saving their lives but have also lost many battles along the way. Many doctors have sacrificed their lives in the line of their duty.
Every day, these selfless warriors are giving their all in health- care settings while cutting themselves off from their families and loved ones. The sacrifice that they are making for the society and welfare of humanity deserves lifelong gratitude from every individual.
When most of the professionals worked from home for their safety, this is the only profession where professionals have been recruited for in-person work. Dressed in full-body suits(PPE) doctors have been taken the coronavirus pandemic head-on and helped India throughout the pandemic.
PPE suits are highly inconvenient and make one sweat profusely. Wearing these suits over 10 to 12 hours daily is a very difficult task, wherein they are unable to drink water or go for urinals, etc, which can lead to dehydration, giddiness, and rashes.
The challenges faced by the medical staff and doctors had never led them to step back rather they are accepting the challenge with bold hands.
Recently we have come across a doctor from Noida, Dr. Pooja who wrote positive messages on her PPE even during the height of the second wave of Covid-19 in India, to keep the spirit high and share good vibes.
As soon as she got to work, Dr. Payal would scribble “happy messages” on her PPE suit and compliment with an emoji, in a color other than blue ink. Her colleagues would do it too, emblazoning the white suits with their own personal ‘thoughts of the day. She believes as soon as they enter the covid wards, these positive messages would help them keep up the spirits high and give positive vibes to perform their duties efficiently.
However, there were many other instances as well where we have seen doctors cheering the Covid 19 patients, performing for their patients to keep them happy and zestful throughout their Covid fight.
