Randeep Hooda Kept His Promise To Sarabjit’s Sister Dalbir, Performed Her Last Rites

Yesterday, June 26, Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit Singh’s sister, died after a heart attack. Actor Randeep Hooda quickly departed from Mumbai after learning the news in order to carry out her last rites. In the 2016 biopic “Sarbjit,” Randeep played the part of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian citizen who was given a death sentence by the Pakistani Supreme Court in 1991 and who subsequently served 22 years in prison for alleged acts of terrorism and espionage.

In the movie, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan portrayed the part of Dalbir Kaur. Dalbir was moved by Randeep’s portrayal of her brother in the movie. Dalbir and Randeep had a close relationship. This brother and sister’s bond was so sincere that Dalbir asked Randeep to give her “kandha” when she passed away ( offer his shoulder before taking the body to the cremation.)

In keeping with his vow, he not only handed her “kandha,” but also lighted the fire.

The world will continue to be shown by Dalbir Kaur that Sarabjit Singh was an innocent man because she battled for him till the bitter end.
