PM visited MP, launched initiatives for Tribal welfare on the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda.

On the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, which the Centre is commemorating as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Madhya Pradesh today and launched many initiatives for the welfare of the tribal population.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicates a museum to tribal independence hero Birsa Munda in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

PM Modi inaugurated a museum in Ranchi in honor of Birsa Munda, saying, “The nation resolved that during the ‘Amrit Kaal’ of independence, tribal traditions and bravery stories would be given even more prominence. The historic decision has been made to commemorate Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary on November 15 as ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas.'”
