NIA arrests Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorist from West Bengal.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced on Wednesday that it has detained a Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorist in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas region. According to authorities, the terrorist, whose identity has not yet been revealed, is believed to be a close acquaintance of the four JMB terrorists apprehended in West Bengal in July of this year.

On Tuesday, NIA sleuths apprehended the terrorist. According to authorities, the terrorist may have had ties to Al-Qaeda and Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (HuJI) and was planning terror attacks in West Bengal.
