National Capital Shattered,3 Dead Several Injured in Rohini Court Shootout; Watch Video

Three gangsters were killed in a shooting inside a Delhi courthouse, which injured numerous people and prompted severe security concerns in what should be a tightly guarded and sanitized area. Gunshots can be heard in the courtroom, and police officers and attorneys can be seen scrambling in the building in Rohini, North Delhi, in recordings.

Gunmen posing as lawyers stormed a courtroom and shot mobster Jitender Gogi three times. The gangster’s escorting special forces fired back, killing both attackers on the spot. There were 30 bullets fired in total.

Jitender Gogi, a known mobster who had been imprisoned in Tihar since last year and was engaged in several criminal cases, was confirmed dead in hospital. When he was taken for his court appearance today, a rival group known as the “Tillu Gang” prepared to kill him, according to the police.

Attackers opened fire on Gogi, who had been brought to court for a hearing, according to Delhi Police. Gogi was rushed to a hospital, but he died as a result of his injuries.

Gogi, whose real name is Jitender Mann, was apprehended in March of last year and was seen as a major target by the Delhi police.

Police also shot and killed three of the attackers. According to the ANI news agency, the assailants were dressed as lawyers.

According to Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana, one of the attackers was holding a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head.

The event has sparked concerns about whether the court’s metal detectors were functioning properly, and if they were, how the armed men managed to get past them.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Singh of the Aam Aadmi Party said on Twitter in Hindi, “Where have you gone, Amit Shah, Minister of State for Home Affairs? Such a huge incident in the country’s capital. Bullets reverberate through the temple of justice.”
