The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) has offered a generous offer in honour of National Cinema Day. In honour of National Cinema Day, MAI is providing discounted movie tickets. On September 16, the cost of the movie tickets would just be Rs 75 (at some theatres).
The MAI stated that the Rs 75 tickets were given as a “thank you” to patrons who helped the cinemas successfully reopen following the pandemic-induced lockdowns.
Notably, 4,000 theatres across India, including well-known chains like PVR and Cinepolis, will observe the anniversary.
“Cinemas come together to celebrate ‘National Cinema Day’ on 16th Sep, to offer movies for just Rs.75,” Multiplex Association of India tweeted.
“National Cinema Day will be held at more than 4000 participating screens and will include cinema screens of PVR, INOX, CINEPOLIS, CARNIVAL, MIRAJ, CITYPRIDE, ASIAN, MUKTA A2, MOVIE TIME, WAVE, M2K, DELITE and many others,” the association said.
