Danish Man Guilty Of Shooting In Copenhagen, Denmark On Sunday

The man guilty of shooting multiple people in Copenhagen, Denmark with his automatic weapon at the shopping mall on Sunday, left several people shot with three confirm dead and others injured, according to Denmark police said.

The suspect gunman, who is in custody, is said to be a 22-year-old Danish man who was detained near the Fields shopping mall. Police said they were first alerted to the shooting at 5:36 p.m. ( 9:06 p.m. IST). Many police officers were present on the scene with heavily-armed on hands, with several fire department vehicles also parked outside the mall.
The incident occurred ahead of a concert by former One Direction band member Harry Styles was scheduled to be held at 8 p.m. (11:30 p.m. IST) at the nearby Royal Arena. It was unclear whether the concert would go ahead.
“One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting at Fields. We currently are not able to say more about the person concerned,” Copenhagen police tweeted informing about the arrest of the suspect. “We have a massive presence at Fields and are working on getting an overview.”
