Commercial LPG prices slashed; Effective from 1st July

For each 19-kg cylinder, the cost of commercial LPG refills has decreased by more than 180 Rs effective from July 1. The price of the 14.2-kg household LPG refill was unaffected by the move, according to the announcement made by state-owned oil marketing companies Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum.
In order to account for fluctuations in the price of crude oil on a global scale, commercial LPG prices are often updated frequently. Because of the transportation costs to and from the bottling plants, the retail prices of the cylinders vary across the nation.
The decrease in the cost of LPG refills would undoubtedly provide some respite to commercial organisations as the cost of numerous commodities continues to rise due to rising inflation. However, given that the price of the 19-kg cylinder has been primarily rising since November, they are unlikely to pass the benefit forward to the customers.
