Brad Pitt Claims He Had A Medical Condition Call “Prosopagnosia” or Simply “Face Blindness

The Hollywood A-lister actor Brad Pitt, 58, claims he suffered face blindness, and opens up about his undiagnosed neurological condition in a recent interview with GQ.

The struggle to recognize faces is all too real for many people. That happens with 1 in 50 people who have a medical condition called prosopagnosia or face blindness, which is a neurological disorder where someone is unable to recognize faces. And Brad Pitt believes himself to be among those affected.

This isn’t the first time Pitt has talked about the possibility of having this problem. Back in 2013, during the promotion of his then-upcoming film World War Z, Pitt speculated on the same idea in an interview with Esquire magazine.

“So many people hate me because they think I’m disrespecting them,” Pitt said in 2013. “But it’s a mystery to me, man. I can’t grasp a face and yet I come from such a design/aesthetic point of view. I am going to get it tested.”
