In the case of the Arunachal PSC exam paper leak, three officials have been replaced

Three new state public service commission employees have been appointed by the Arunachal Pradesh government to take the place of those who had been suspended due to a case involving the leak of assistant engineer exam papers. According to a government announcement made on Thursday night, D Verma, the secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB), has been given the additional responsibility of being the secretary of the state PSC.
Tasso Gambo, a Balijan additional deputy commissioner, has been chosen to serve as the commission’s joint secretary and controller of examination. According to the notification, Roing extra assistant commissioner Rakesh Tacho has been promoted to deputy secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APSSC). The assistant engineer (civil) examination paper leak case had prompted the government to suspend APSSC secretary Jayanta Kumar Ray and joint secretary Suraj Gurung on Wednesday.
The meeting between Chief Minister Pema Khandu and representatives of the All Nyishi Students’ Union and the All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union was followed by the development. After Taket Jerang was detained in connection with the case, the government immediately suspended him from his positions as the APPSC deputy secretary and deputy controller of examinations. The scam was discovered after a candidate complained to the Itanagar Police Station on August 29 after believing that the assistant engineer (Civil) examination paper had been leaked. On August 26 and 27, the test was administered. Notably, over 400 candidates showed up for the test. Ten people have been detained by the police thus far in connection with the case, including several government officials. The state government has already suggested that the case be investigated by the CBI.
