A young mom in her 20s was shot in the head and killed on East 95th Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue in Manhattan, NYPD says she was pushing her three-year-old baby in a stroller when the man shot her.

A woman has been rushed to the Metropolitan Hospital in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead. However, the child believes to be unharmed.

One shell casing was recovered at the scene and the shooter was said to be wearing all black with a black hooded sweatshirt. The police investigation is underway. NYC Mayor Eric Adams has been seen on the scene.
