India’s 100 Richest According To Forbes’ 2022 List: Mukesh Ambani is ousted by Gautam Adani and tops the list

The long-awaited list of the Top 100 Richest Indians for 2022 has finally been made public by Forbes.
According to Forbes, India’s GDP grew after the outbreak, overtaking the United Kingdom to become the fifth-largest in the world. The declining Rupee, which dropped 10% over that time, was the biggest drag on the stock market, which has only slightly increased from a year ago. The combined wealth of India’s top 100 earners increased by $25 billion despite this to reach $800 billion.Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, topped the list this year after more than doubling his net worth to $150 billion. Mukesh Ambani, the owner of Reliance, who has been at the top of the list since 2013, is now ranked second with a net worth of $88 billion, down from $92.7 billion in 2017. The top 10 positions on this year’s ranking have changed a bit. Savitri Jindal and her family are now ranked 6 according to Forbes ($16.4 billion), moving up one position. The Bajaj family (No. 10, $14.6 billion), Dilip Shanghvi and family (No. 7, $15.5 billion), and Hinduja Brothers (No. 8, $15.2 billion) have joined the Top-10 club.
